The team has the honor of winning the Conference Championships twice – in 1981-82 and 1993-94. The team has also won the Division Championships five times, in 1974-75, 1991-92, 1992-93, 2003-04, and 2006-07. The team has also won the President’s/Lester Patrick Cup in 1958, 1960, 1969, and 1970.
Some of the star players who were also awarded the Hall of Famers includes Gump Worsley, Allan Stanley, Cam Neely, Mark Messier, Tony Esposito, Johnny Bower, and Andy Bathgate. Alain Vigneault won the Jack Adams Award in 2006-07. The team has been awarded with Clarence S. Campbell Bowl award twice, in 1981-82 and 1993-94. The record of scoring the most Goals in a season is in the name of Pavel Bure who made this record twice by scoring 60 goals in 1992-93 and 1993-94. The General Motors Place is the home arena of the team. It is located at 800 Griffiths Way, Vancouver, British Columbia K2V 1A5. The stadium was opened in 1995. Orca Bay Sports and Entertainment is the honor and operator of this stadium. The overall construction cost of this sports arena was C$160 million. For a hockey game in this arena, the maximum number of 18,630 Vancouver Canucks tickets can be sold. For basketball, this number is 19,193.
